5 tips to flatter Mum in photos!

Lets face it how many of us LOVE getting our picture taken?

I love it only when i see them on my wall and know my families memories were preserved for another year! But imagine if we could make a few adjustments to make you look amazing in every photo you may hate it less and even come to like it.

Here are my 5 tried and true tips to looking amazing in every photo. And once you've mastered these you may just LOVE getting your photos taken, just like your children!

Shoulders tilted and arms bent

5 tips:

1. tilt chin down slightly, it opens up the eyes

2. extend head forward, it removes any double chin

3. turn body slightly sideways with the front shoulder dropped slightly, it is slimming

4. if sanding put your weight on your back foot and slightly bend forward from the waist, this will feel amazingly awkward but will be slimming not awkward!

5. Allow your arms to bend, ie: hand in front or back pocket, hand on hip, or holding something, this flatters upper arm. It can allow direction in the photo. See the image below mum and dads arms naturally bend towards the children creating almost a circle of protection.

Extra tip: always place the children in front! They can cover any of the not so hot spots and lets face it they are so much cuter!!

Its a lot to think about all at the same time, but give these a whirl when getting your next iphone pic taken. Often if we do not allow our minds to become self conscious the body can naturally fall into a beautiful position. And if not, Im here to help!

I'd love to see your results and comments.
