I was so excited after scouting this location yesterday for an up coming shoot. It was almost as if I had just seen Santa. I love shooting families on beautiful beaches with gorgeous sun sets but a bush location can offer even more textures and backdrops and Gurragawee eco venue has all this and more. The photos included here are iphone happy snaps i like to take to help to trigger my memory while planning for a family photoshoot.
As a family photographer I am always looking for opportunities for framing shots and spaces where the children can be interacting, running and having fun together to be able to capture those natural lifestyle shots. This unique beautiful property offers rustic sheds, gorgeous fences, creeks and a stunning macadamia orchard with mountain sunset views and one of my favorites….a bridge.
I have had a fascination with the Macadamia orchards since I moved here 7 years ago. I have always wanted to do a family shoot framed by the bushy endless rows of trees. Right now the grass is lushly long and I can just picture children running through the long grass up the hill as the sun glows bright green on the hill behind them.
This beautiful property is used for retreats, conferences, small weddings, filming and photoshoots. I am so thrilled the lovely Kate allows me to roam the property from creek to creek. If your interested in a bush session at this beautiful property contact me to book it in before Christmas!
