I am so happy when i look at this picture of one of the happiest children I have ever photographed! Its the joy in her eye that i am continually drawn to and I want to keep looking at!

I remember when i was studying photography in high school and i would often go to exhibits with my mother. She would ask me, "what do you see" and then i would ask her in response, " what do you feel when you look at the photograph?".

When connecting into the emotion that a photograph elicits, it becomes far more powerful. My job as a photographer is to capture an image that will tap into that emotion.
